FIFA World Cup Schedule 2022

An updated FIFA World Cup schedule for 2022 has been released. This World Cup will be held in Qatar, and FIFA has created a special card just for spectators. A government-issued document by the name of Hayya Card, also known as Fan ID, is required to enter any stadium to watch a FIFA World Cup game. Only those who possess this card and match tickets are permitted entry into the stadium. For each match, you do not need to use a different card. Each and every match will only accept one card. According to the government of Qatar, those who possess a Hayya card will be able to apply for a special visa that will allow them to stay in the country for two months. Its due date will begin ten days prior to the FIFA World Cup. Get this card before the time expires so that you can travel to and from Qatar whenever you like.

The tournament’s opening match will be played on November 20 at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, by the FIFA World Cup 2022 hosts, Qatar, against Ecuador.

The opening game and ceremony of the 2018 tournament at Al Bayt Stadium were originally scheduled for November 21, but the football organization announced on August 11 that the FIFA Council’s Bureau unanimously decided to move them up by one day.

By doing this, the FIFA World Cup will continue its long-standing custom of having the hosts or the reigning champions play in the opening game.

Since their competitive international debut in 1970, the Maroons have not achieved World Cup finals qualification.

On November 21 at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar, Senegal will take the field instead of the Netherlands, who was originally scheduled to play them in the opening game.

At the Khalifa International Stadium, Group B’s opening match features England playing Asian powerhouse Iran before the subsequent match.

Australia will be the opponent for the opening match of Group D’s reigning champions France.

Brazil, who has won the tournament five times in a row, will face Serbia in their opening matchup in Group G, while Ghana will face Portugal, who qualified for the European playoffs.

Canada will play Belgium in their round one matchup as the first CONCACAF team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and make just their second appearance at the championship of football.

The quarterfinals are set for December 9–11, while the Round of 16 will take place from December 3–7 in FIFA World Cup 2022.

December 14 and 15 are the dates for the semi-finals, and December 18 is the date set for the bronze final.

On December 19, the Lusail Iconic Stadium will host the FIFA World Cup final of 2022.
