FIFA World Cup 2022 Stadiums: Al Rayyan, Qatar’s Education City Stadium is a football stadium that was constructed as a location for the future Qatar-hosted FIFA World Cup in 2022. At the Qatar Foundation’s Education City, the stadium is situated among a number of academic campuses. The stadium will keep 25,000 seats after the FIFA World Cup for usage by collegiate sporting teams. The stadium’s first official game, which took place in the 2020–21 Qatar Stars League season, took place on September 3, 2020.
The stadium’s location is on the outskirts of the capital Doha, and its seating capacity is greater than 40,000. “Diamond in the Desert” is another moniker for Education City Stadium. One of the most environmentally friendly stadiums in the entire world is this one. In May 2019, the GSAS gave The Stadium a five-star grade.

JPAC JV is the Stadium’s general contractor; Pattern Design is the principal architect on the project, while Buro Happold is responsible for the engineering design.
The Education City Ground is one of eight stadiums that will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Construction on this stadium was completed in June 2020, and it officially opened on June 15, 2020.
