West Bengal Lockdown Notice PDF
On 29 May 2021, the West Bengal administration agreed to prolong the lockdown to 15 June. The current limits on Covid-19 have been extended in Bengal to 15 June. Due to the existing constraints, the pandemic situation in Bengal has eased a bit.
guidelines of West Bengal lock-down
- Only the critical service sector can function, including healthcare, law and order, court, prison, power, drinking water and the media.
- All government and commercial offices, retail facilities, centres, bars, sports centres, pubs and beauty centers are closed.
- The movement of private vehicles, taxis and car rickshaws, with the exception of hospitals, nurses, diagnostic centres, clinics, immunization facilities and airports, would be restricted.
- Closing shall continue of local railways, intra-state bus services and inland water services.
- All transportation of lorries and carriers of products shall be closed except for medical supplies, oxygen and needed foodstuffs.
- All commodities must be authorized to provide e-commerce home delivery services.
- Sweetmeat businesses may open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and jewelry and saree stores may run from noon to 3 p.m.
- All meetings – administrative, leisure, political, cultural and religious – will be prohibited during this period.
- Tea gardens may operate at each shift with a 50% personnel.
- Tank pumps, car maintenance facilities, gas LPG and distributor centers and stands are still open, while banks work from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
