Vidyanjali Scheme or विद्यांजलि योजना Yojana has been launched by the Central with an aim to benefit all the welfare schemes of the Central government by Union Cabinet Minister, Smriti Irani . Union Cabinet Minister, Smriti Irani and his cabinet have introduced this scheme to the boost community and private sector participation in government schools of Central. Under this scheme all diverse academic and professional backgrounds in schools may lead to flow of new ideas and information among children will be benefited. About Vidyanjali Scheme Details
Summary: Smriti Irani launched Vidyanjali, a school volunteer network and an initiative of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development to increase community and private sector involvement in government schools. Volunteers, including NRIs, retired teachers, government officials, defence personnel, and experts, will give their services for co-curricular activities for children in grades I through VIII as part of the initiative. The Department of School Education and Literacy initiated the project under the aegis of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
The programme being piloted across 21 states which includes Indian states like Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh

Volunteers must commit to volunteering for two weeks at a specific school. They are not required to attend school every day and provide educational services for a period of two weeks. This is due to the fact that they will provide educational services one day a week for a period of 12 weeks. - If the volunteer has finished this time, he or she will apply for a volunteer service extension in the same way that they did the first time.
