One of the most important chapters in the classic epic Ramayana is the Yuddha Kanda (also known as Lanka kanda). The Yuddha Kandam describes the war between the Rama army and the Ravana army.

Once the Ram army is finished, it continues to cross the bridge and reaches Lanka, camping atop Mount Suvela. When Mandodari hears of Ram’s army march, she requests Ravan to go back to Ram for the lives of her husband. Son Prahasta of Ravan is likewise trying to reaffirm the feelings of his mother without any results. Rama fires a warning shot at Suvela from his retreat and hits the crown and the royal parachute of Ravan.
For the second time, Mandodari tries to convince Ravan to return Sita to Ram. Meanwhile, Ram asks Jambavan what to do. Jambavan proposes to send Angada to Ravan as a messenger to return Sita.
