Mira Sorvino paid tribute to her late father, actor Paul Sorvino, by tweeting a heartfelt message about him today. Paul Sorvino passed away at the age of 83 after battling a number of health challenges in recent years.

She wrote in a tweet, “My father, the legendary Paul Sorvino, has gone away.” “My heart is shattered to pieces since our life together filled with love, joy, and wisdom has come to an end. He was the most amazing parent in the world. I love him so much. As you continue your ascent, please know that I am thinking of you and sending you my love.
